Foresight-session in the framework of international conference “Modeling R2B processes: innovative education programs and network cooperation” was held at Don State Technical University on June, 9.

Representatives of the South Russian universities and enterprises, chiefs of business media and business analyst identified major trends influencing the development of productive sector and higher education system as well as optimal algorithm of interaction between them up to 2035 at the foresight-session “University-Enterprise Models of Cooperation: effective tools to develop regional business competitive advantages” in the DSTU Mediapark.

According to the foresight-session experts, the main trend of the job market is blurring the current jobs criteria and emerging the new ones. Demand for narrow specialists will decline, while specialists in the forefront technologies (as well as the technologies themselves) will attract business structures interest to universities.

Consequently, universities will inevitably strengthen their focus on mobile and modular education as the most flexible education models in the nearest future.

Among the foresight-session participants were Head of Education and Development PJSC “MMC ”Norilsk Nickel” Olga Solodova, Director of European Network for Business Studies and Languages SPACE (EC) Luc Broes, Head of Sino-Russian Zone of High and New Technologies Representative Office, member of the Silk Road Technopark Association (SRSPA, China) Fuli Yan, Director General of the Analytical Center, Editor-Chief of the “Ekspert Yug” journal Vladimir Kozlov.
